STORMS RIVER VILLAGE lies about a kilometre south of the national road. It offers a number of places to stay, a couple of general dealers selling basics, a liquor store, a fish-and-chips shop and an adventure centre offering activities in the area. A tranquil place criss-crossed by a handful of dirt roads and with about forty houses, it enjoys mountain vistas but requires transport to get to Storms River Mouth and the national park.
