There is no such thing as a bus timetable in Lesotho, so the following information is intended to give a rough idea of frequencies and journey times. Minibus taxis supplement bus services everywhere and ensure that you can always find some form of public transport on major routes, though the story is very different on minor routes off the tarred roads, where you can expect long waits. Because public transport is so erratic, it's usually a better idea to just make for the next town on and find something from there rather than getting a ticket all the way to your destination (unless there's only one a day); your bus will stop at the next town anyway, and wait for more passengers, and you might be able to get a minibus taxi in the meantime.
